Shelby Hoefling, player 438, is based in Baltimore, Maryland but grew up in Northern Virginia. She is the Sales Director for Dash Media where she helps to change the perception of aging. Not only is this her passion at work but it’s her passion in life. She has made a name for herself and her Grandma on her social media with features on Good Morning America, the Today Show, and E! News and more. She’s written a children’s book to inspire meaningful relationships between grandchildren and grandparents called Grandma’s in the Phone! She is inspired to not only share that aging is beautiful through her relationship with her Grandmother but to simply spread joy and kindness. Shelby was ultimately thankful to go home when she did as she was worried about her Grandmother’s health while away. She believes everything is meant to be and all we can do is our best!
